American Softball Association, National Softball Association, United States Specialty Sports Association, and Protect Our Nation's Youth sports programs. Our program is a great source of fun, education, and recreation for young ladies in the Montgomery County community. Today, we have teams competitively competing from 9 years of age to 18. We have over 80 girls competing in 5 different age groups.

Each team within the organization is fiscally responsible for their budget. To remain competitive as the sport of “travel” softball continues to grow at a quick pace, we need to provide a registration fee that is fair and affordable for those looking to participate. In order to continue to finance the start of new teams while maintaining the same level of commitment to our other players and teams, we strive to come up with avenues to raise money by way of fundraising and local businesses support. We use donations to pay for a variety of needs such as league fees, training facilities, umpires, insurance, equipment, tournaments, and uniforms. There are no paid employees of the X-treme. We are an all-volunteer organization.

All of the teams within the organization this year will play in at least 4 different states, play teams from as many as 10 different states, qualify and play in their respective national tournaments. In all, each team will play between 40 and 80 games this season. For 7 teams that amounts to over 500 games for the 2008 season.

The X-treme is a Non-Profit Organization, and has Federal 501(c)3 and Pennsylvania State Non-Profit Tax Exemption Status. This means your contribution would qualify for non-profit tax deductions. In times when our youth is distracted in many unfavorable ways, recreational sports are a place where our children can turn. They learn goal setting, teamwork, sportsmanship, and aggressive competition. All are traits needed to become good citizens, community builders, and future business leaders.

The ability to fund these programs starts with supporters like you assisting us in providing the young ladies of X-treme the opportunity to build on fundamentals that start with teamwork, commitment and respect. Thank you in advance for your interest in supporting our girls’ athletic program.
